During the festive season James Thomson's uniquely individual style is given full reign at Prestonfield, with abundant decorations, blazing log fires and candles throughout, making Prestonfield the perfect Christmas or Hogmanay venue in Edinburgh.

Built as the grand home of Edinburgh's Lord Provost, Prestonfield was designed for impressive entertaining. That tradition continues today making Prestonfield the perfect place to celebrate your Christmas in 2011.

Throughout December Prestonfield adds to the already sumptous decor with abundant seasonal decorations, traditional Christmas trees and blazing lot fires. Candles light the atmospheric public rooms where we serve a Festive afternoon Tea, whilst our historic (and very charming) private dining rooms are the perfect setting for groups of all sizes.

Special festive menus will feature in our restaurant, Rhubarb, and in Prestonfield's collection of unique private dining rooms. A three-course festive lunch will be available as will a three-course festive dinner.
