Prestonfield’s 20 acres of grounds are adjacent to some of the most spectacular scenery including the Royal Holyrood Park, the historic Old & New Towns of Edinburgh and the idyllic nature reserve and loch at Duddingston. With the iconic Forth Bridge, picturesque East Lothian, dramatic Pentland Hills and mystical Rosslyn Chapel, scene of the Da Vinci Code nearby a balloon trip from Prestonfield is the ultimate way to see our spectacular setting

Helicopters
With the only helipad in central Edinburgh our guests can enjoy the speed and style that only a helicopter can offer for true door-to-door travel. We have a range of helicopters available that can take from 4 to 11 guests, so even if you don’t arrive by helicopter we can arrange for a sight seeing tour or transfers to airports. Car Hire
As you would expect we have arrangements with the major car hire companies, so we can arrange for a vehicle to be ready for you at the train station, airport or delivered here ready for you. With heaps of free parking at Prestonfield, staying in Edinburgh with a car couldn’t be easier, just park at the door.
