Afternoon Tea

A traditional afternoon tea is a Prestonfield tradition; after all, tea has been taken here since the 1680’s when our neighbour King Charles II made it fashionable through the court at Holyrood!

In summer enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in our gothic Tea House, on the lawns surrounded by fragrant old-fashioned roses or as an afternoon treat on the terrace. Winter at Prestonfield brings its compensations with the opportunity to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea by the roaring log fires of Prestonfield’s inviting Yellow, Tapestry or Leather rooms.
