If ever there were a room rich, ripe and dissolute then the Stuart Room may be it, with its dramatic red, black and gilt décor and luxurious furnishings this is the most striking and dramatic of Prestonfield’s private dining rooms.
Famed for its views to Craigmillar Castle and "Little France", home to Mary, Queen of Scots, of whom a portrait still hangs in this room.
Enjoy your pre drinks reception in the Leather Room which is decorated with seventeenth-century Spanish leather, recently restored to its original glory.
